Indignados, gay e laici. La Spagna dei No Papa

Ma le iniziative di protesta non si fermano. Ieri e oggi, dalle 17 alle 20, «Baci popolari» dei gay contro l’«omofobia ecclesiastica», Indignados contro «il fondamentalismo della Chiesa» al Sol, una settimana di cinema ateo degli anarchici. Cartelli e striscioni per la città con le scritte «Pericolo arriva il Papa» o «Madrid senza Papa» con un cittadino che butta nel cestino la tiara pontificale.

Gli anticlericali sono come un fiume in cui affluiscono molti numerosi affluenti, in un Paese ben il 44% dei giovani, secondo un sondaggio dello statale Cis, dichiara di non credere nel Dio cattolico: comunisti, laici, atei, femministe, lesbiche e omosessuali, libertari, Indignados, squatters, antifranchisti. E cristiani di base. Con una forte presenza nei social network e, come denunciava l’osservante ed online Hispanidad, fiancheggiati da due giornali progressisti, Público ed El País, il più autorevole di Spagna, più la gettonatissima tv privata La Sexta.

Gli Indignados fanno atto di presenza, forse anche perché il cardinale Rouco Varela, presidente dei vescovi spagnoli, predicava che il loro vero problema non è tanto la disoccupazione (il 20% della popolazione attiva, il 45% quella giovanile), ma «la loro anima».

Per il radicato Redes Cristianas, il Papa viene in Spagna «come un monarca assoluto».
