The Dark Side of Rev. Sun Myung Moon

Amid debates over the 115-year-old Pendleton Act and whether it covers fund-raising phone calls from the White House, a more sinister money-in-politics issue continues to go unnoticed: the vast political influence-buying operation of the Rev. Sun Myung Moon. The Clinton administration appears no more interested in where Moon's mysterious millions originate than was the Reagan-Bush administrations which benefitted from Moon's largesse.

Our recent series, "Dark Side of Rev. Moon," documented how Moon's organization purchased influence through secret payments to key political figures, including former President George Bush and Religious Right leader Jerry Falwell. Moon also financed costly media outlets, such as The Washington Times. Moon has built this U.S. network even as he tells his followers that America is "Satan's harvest" and vows to subjugate the American people under a Korea-based theocracy.

The series also revealed that Moon's organization still engages in questionable financial practices. According to court records, the Moon organization has been laundering money and diverting funds to buy personal luxuries for Moon's family, including cocaine for Moon's son, Hyo Jin. The financial sleights-of-hand are reminiscent of offenses that led to Moon's conviction for tax evasion in 1982.

But since our series ran, more troubling facts about Moon's international political connections have been brought to our attention. Most disturbing, given Moon's free-spending ways, are his long-standing ties to ultra-rightists linked to Asian organized crime and to the Latin American drug trade. These associations -- and Moon's deepening business operations in South America -- underscore the need for the U.S. government to ascertain exactly how Moon is financing his U.S. political empire.

Moon's representatives refuse to detail publicly how they sustain their far-flung operations. But they angrily rebut recurring allegations about profiteering off illegal trafficking in weapons and drugs.

It is not the first time when futurologists raise the water crisis subject. They believe that the crisis may occur even before the planet runs out of its fresh water. The shortage of water can be accompanied with large-scale military conflicts.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon raised the subject in December 2007 at the first Asian-Pacific Water Forum, which took place in Japan. Ban Ki-moon said that one-third of Earth’s population lives in the areas, which already suffer from the lack of water. More importantly, about 1.1 billion people living on the planet nowadays do not have access to fresh water which poses no health risks.

Make sure that home of your dreams wasn't a former drug lab

For each pound of methamphetamine (crank) produced in a home lab, six pounds of toxic waste is generated. Given that, wouldn't you want to know if that house for sale you've fallen in love with had previously been the site of a lab?

Pavese, per mestiere scrivere un diario

Good day my friend,

As you mentioned, "Some one has died long time ago, some one who tried but didn’t know"

Is Obama Speech Site Contaminated by Nazi Past?
Finally, Barack Obama's campaign has settled on a site for his Berlin speech. But some German politicians have now criticized his choice as being one full of Nazi-related symbolism.

... intention should not be judged ...
... at the opposite of what churches think ...
... but is known that the position of america on europe ...
... would rather see the enforcement and consolidation ...
... of their rights as "occupants" ...
... so the choice of place ...
... seems to be consistent with their opinions ...
... as the romans said 'divide et impera' ...
... however there is a second part of this problem ...

... most likelly not a coincidence ...

Ben Barnake & The New International Economic Order

As usual, "the road of hell is paved of good intentions"

... the financial american default is structural ...
... and finds its basis in an unfair labor law ...
... won't matter what banking measures are taken ...
... loans in america will be subject to random default forever ...
... because the issue is not in the loans, but in the labor policy ...
... in the absence of any rights for employees ...
... and the absence of citizens basic rights ...
... like for instance medical care ...

... the mud on the bottom of the hill is structural as well ...
... and finds its basis on governments that need more justice spendings ...
... politicians concerned about "morals" instead than "legal rights" ...
... public sponsored churches that convert sinners with tax money ...

... instead than a nation under god ...
... would suggest a nation under a bit of common sense ...

"Il supercapitalismo
sta stritolando la democrazia"

... belle parole ...
... ma i fatti non confermano la teoria ...
... il suo "candidato" ...
... non accetta il contributo elettorale pubblico ...
... perche' vuole solo accettare contributi elettorali privati ...
... cioe' delle stesse logge dei "supercapitalisti" ...
... inoltre non vuole un sistema medico pubblico ...
... come in ogni altro paese occidentale civile ....
... perche' cio' tocca gli interessi dei "supercapitalisti" ...
... infine vuole dare piu' soldi pubblici a chiese ...
... che tutto sono tranne che religioni ...
... alcune potrebbero piu' propriamente essere definite ...
... come associazioni a delinquere ...
... ed altre sono strumento di propaganda ...
... dei "supercapitalisti" ...

... sarebbe bene che i politici americani ...
... smettessero di prendere in giro la gente ...
... ma non possono farlo ...
... perche' sono tutti lacche' dei "supercapitalisti" ...
