Air Cooled: "Once up and running on the dynamometer and preliminary tests having been made the WO engine was then installed in his Morris Minor with registration number YPE 719. This car had the high-positioned headlamps of the later Minor models. From the start the engine bell housing and flywheel design had been such as to make sure the engine fitted directly onto the Morris gearbox. The original rear-drive was thus maintained. At 900 cc capacity the power output was very similar to that of the then 803 cc BMC power unit but as some of the pictures show the cooling was more like that of a motorcycle and did not use a ducted fan."
